Lameness exams require close observation of the horse in hand and under tack. Diagnostic nerve and or joint blocks may be done followed by a radiographic exam and analysis. Digital radiographs provide immediate, high quality images.

Monocacy Equine offers two direct digital imaging machines to use in our clinic and at your farm.

Digital Ultrasound

Ultrasound provides a non-invasive, reliable and safe way to image soft tissues.  Monocacy Equine uses ultrasound imaging to provide useful information about tendons and ligaments, thoracic, abdominal and reproductive issues.
